Bradley is an emerging contemporary artist based in Tarntanya/Adelaide. Bradley’s practice primarily utilises photography and 3D modelling to explore liminal spaces and the transformative blanket of darkness. The techniques used for this work includes light painting, multiple exposures, 3D modelling, compositing and editing. Bradley uses these skills to emulate feelings of nostalgia whilst exploring the comfort of familiarity within spaces transformed by uncanny darkness that converts everyday spaces. He also enjoys using unedited photography with early digital cameras to further explore and capture the nostalgic connection found within the grain and unique lighting that these cameras produce. Bradley aims to produce bodies of work which explore the natural fear we have to darkness and the liminal spaces that are created from it.
